This TS will provide the principles and essential knowledge required for safe operations of the latest cutting edge UAS for scientific environmental applications mainly focused in forestry.

Technical University of Crete & Maleme Military Airport. Chania, Crete Island, Greece.
The TS is open to all scientists or professionals related to the field, but priority will be given to researchers with fewer than 8 years of experience from the date they obtained their PhD. Also, gender balance and country representativeness will be promoted. It is limited to 15 participants.
Support for selected attendees
There is no registration fee for the TS. Selected participants will receive individual grants of up to 750€ to cover all their travel, food and accommodation expenses. Coffee breaks will be provided by local organisers.
